UK Supplier Comparison 2026

Garden Room Companies Offering the Best Value

Which garden-room companies give you the most for your money? We compare published prices, installation and what’s actually included — because the cheapest advertised room isn’t necessarily the cheapest finished project.

Editorial & affiliate disclosure: GardenSpacewise independently selects companies for comparison based on factors such as published specification, pricing and what’s included. We may earn a commission or referral fee from some suppliers in future. A commercial relationship does not guarantee inclusion or determine our conclusions. We do not claim to have personally tested a building unless explicitly stated.

Our current view

There isn’t one best-value garden-room company for everybody. A buyer wanting the lowest-cost professionally installed room has different priorities from somebody looking for a complete £20,000–£30,000 bespoke project. The meaningful comparison is what you receive for the total completed cost.

We therefore look beyond the headline price. Foundations, installation, insulation, electrics, flooring and finishing can materially change the true cost of a garden room.

Company Published starting price Our value category Important point
Eurocell From £8,499 Lower-cost installed option Fully installed Studio Select available, but published price excludes groundworks.
Green Retreats From £9,485 Range & established national supplier Professional installation and 12-year guarantee; specification varies by range.
Cabin Master From £12,500 Inclusive mid-market package Base/foundations, build, insulation, internal electrics, flooring and painting included.

Our best-value picks by buyer type

Lower-cost installed option

Eurocell Studio Select

From £8,499

Eurocell is interesting for buyers trying to keep the initial cost of a professionally installed garden room down. Its Studio Select range currently starts at £8,499 and is described as fully insulated for year-round use.

The compact 2.44m × 2.44m model includes French doors and a full-height side window, with larger sizes available.

Watch the groundworks: Eurocell states that its published Studio Select prices cover the building and installation but exclude groundworks. A base or ground-screw option can be incorporated into the quotation.

Best suited to: buyers wanting an accessible route into a professionally installed insulated garden room who are prepared to compare the additional groundwork cost separately.

Green Retreats

Ranges from £9,485

Green Retreats has one of the broadest product ladders among the suppliers we’ve reviewed, ranging from its cost-focused B-Range through G-Range, A-Range and premium X1 buildings.

The company currently advertises garden rooms from £9,485, with professional installation included and a 12-year guarantee. Its buildings are designed for year-round use.

Why it stands out: The breadth of the range makes it possible to compare several specification and budget levels with the same supplier rather than immediately moving between different companies.

Best suited to: buyers wanting a large choice of sizes, designs and price points from an established specialist garden-room company.

Inclusive mid-market package

Cabin Master

From £12,500

Cabin Master’s starting price is higher than the cheapest options in this comparison, but the included specification is why it deserves attention.

The company currently says its garden rooms start from £12,500 and that the price includes the base/foundations, build, insulation, internal electrics, flooring and internal — plus external where necessary — painting.

Why this matters: A £12,500 quotation containing substantial site and finishing work may ultimately represent better value than a £9,000 room requiring several additional contractors.

Best suited to: buyers who want more of the project handled by one company and prefer to reduce the number of separately priced elements.

How we judge value

We’re not simply ranking companies from cheapest to most expensive. For GardenSpacewise, value means considering the finished usable room.

Completed cost

What will you actually spend before the room is ready to use rather than merely delivered?

Foundations

A low headline price can become much less attractive when significant groundworks are added later.

Insulation

Year-round buyers need to understand the wall, roof and floor specification rather than accepting “fully insulated” at face value.

Installation

Supply-only, basic assembly and a complete professional installation are not equivalent products.

Internal finish

Flooring, walls, painting and heating can represent meaningful additional expenditure.

Guarantee & support

A garden room is a substantial purchase, so warranty length, scope and after-sales support matter.

The questions we’d ask every supplier

  • Does the quoted price include VAT?
  • Is delivery to my postcode included?
  • Is a site survey included?
  • Who provides the foundations or base?
  • Are groundworks included in the advertised price?
  • Is complete installation included?
  • What is the wall, floor and roof construction?
  • What insulation is used?
  • What glazing specification is standard?
  • Are internal sockets and lighting included?
  • Is the final electrical connection from the house included?
  • Is flooring included?
  • Is heating included?
  • Are the internal walls completely finished?
  • Could access to my garden create additional charges?
  • What exactly does the guarantee cover?

Ask for the ready-to-use price.

The easiest way to compare companies is to ask what the total project will cost before the room is genuinely ready for the purpose you intend to use it for.

Why the cheapest garden room can cost more

Imagine Supplier A advertises a garden room for £9,000 while Supplier B quotes £13,000. Supplier A initially appears substantially cheaper.

But if Supplier A’s price excludes foundations, electrical work, flooring and internal finishing while Supplier B includes most of those items, the comparison changes completely.

This is why our Garden Room Cost Guide focuses on completed project cost rather than headline price.

Best value isn’t necessarily the lowest price.

Compare the building, foundations, installation and finishing as one project. That’s the figure that tells you what you’re really getting for your money.
